The next day the crew takes off the roof.  Old asphalt was layed on top of old shingles. 

[Barry Murrin, owner of Northern Pacific Roofing says] It's been several years since any roof work has been done.  Whenever you have multiple layers on there, It could have been 25 years since this structure has seen any roof work done at all.

New plywood goes down, then felt, and finally the grey shingles that will give this roof line a nice lift from the curb.
